i've decided i really need to make an attempt to keep my dA concurrent with the (completed) pictures i post on tumblr, so i'm gonna be uploading a few things tonight. mostly kirby gijinkas, but one or two other things.
this was an art trade with a friend on tumblr - prettybot - of a fusion between our two gemsonas! hers is rhodochrosite and mine is tanzanite (whom i'll be uploading shortly). this was really fun to design and i'm quite proud of it! even though it's a few months old by now, it holds up and i still like it quite a bit.

This looks fantastic! I love the rocky textures and purple shading; they're a nice little subtlety that really enhance the design.
